Who we are

Pier Francesco Rimbotti is Founder and CEO of Infrastrutture Group. Entrepreneur since 1994, he can be considered a pioneer in the wind, solar, biomethane and hydro industries and one of the most experienced independent renewable power producers in the Italian market. Over the years, he has led Infrastrutture through a solid organic and international growth path, successfully exploiting the opportunities present in Europe, Latam and Japan. His talent in perceiving disruptive technologies emerged ever since the early stages of his career with Procter&Gamble as Group Head of the Engineering and Manufacturing Department and Senior Engagement Manager in the Industrial Practice with McKinsey&Co, where he acquired broad based competences from strategy to project research & development as well as Structured Finance. Over 30 years on the field have consolidated his vocation for the environmental sustainability of the local communities he engages with. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, London and an MBA from Insead, Fontainebleau. He is Chapter Member for Italy of YPO, the international network of entrepreneurs. Fluent in English, German, French and Spanish.

Alberto Cornegliano Cattaneo is Board Member of Infrastrutture S.p.A.. Alberto has developed over 20 years of broad base experience in Corporate Finance, operating on behalf of several investment banks both in Italy and in the UK, among which Rothschild and Credit Suisse. After covering various management roles with leading industrial groups – Iveco, New Holland, Alenia / Finmeccanica – he specialized in Italian and international Midcaps for over a decade, mainly focusing on industrial goods, energy, aerospace / defence and consumer goods Alberto holds a degree in Economics from Genova University and has a MBA from Bocconi University of Milan.

Giovanni Carlo Rimbotti is Board Member of Infrastrutture S.p.A. since 1997. Giovanni Carlo has developed deep knowledge in Real Estate and Hospitality covering the role of Board Member at Al Gilà S.r.l. and Gidec S.p.A.. Giovanni Carlo has also gained valuable expertise in corporate finance, marketing, on line communication and data warehousing. He holds a degree in Economics from Florence University.

Emmanuel Meyer is Managing Director of Compania Atlantica de Energia LLP., branch of IFT Group in LATAM. He brings over 15 years of experience in infrastructure investment and project management. Prior to founding PowerTree, Emmanuel assisted VivoPower Plc, Magnetar Solar and Conergy AG on M&A transactions and debt capital solutions, with a focus on energy and infrastructure investments in Latin America, Europe and the Middle East. Prior to Evergreen, Emmanuel served as Managing Director of Element Power Italy, where he oversaw the buildup of the American-backed renewable energy development company. Emmanuel holds an MSc in Finance from Bocconi University, Milan where he also lectured on Corporate Finance for five years prior to moving to London. Fluent in English, Italian, French and Spanish.

Vanni Bertini is Managing Director of Hergo Renewables Italia. Vanni has over 15 years of experience in the power sector. In particular he developed skills in business development, M&A, project-financing and financial analysis of clean energy projects. Before joining IFT he carried out several assignments for different players in the power sector (such as CESI, AGSM Verona, Hermes Investimenti, Solesangro, etc.). Vanni holds a degree in Business Administration from University of Florence and a Ph.d in Corporate Finance from University of Trieste.

Alessandra Guida is Head of Developmnet of Italy and Responsible for the development of Italian energy projects (PV, wind and biomethane) and for the asset management of the PV portfolio in Italy. Alessandra has over 20 years of experience in power generation industry. Prior IFT she worked at MWH S.p.A. . Alessandra holds expertise in the field of developments, acquisitions, revamping and asset management in the enewable energy sector. Also experienced in EHS and quality certifications . She holds a degree in Envirinmental Engineering from “Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II” and a master in Environment Control and Management from Sant’Anna – School od Advanced Studies – Pisa.

Francesco Totaro is Head of Legal Affairs, responsible for advising on all legal issues. He has significant international experience working with cross-disciplinary teams advising on corporate, real estate, investment, finance transactional aspects. He advises IFT since 2008 on all project development issues including, land agreements, EPC and O&M, JV framework and equipment agreements, acquisitions, and contracts. He has also gained experience in structuring and implementing renewable energy projects and strong competences in corporate, real estate and energy law. Francesco has visited Japan and supervised contractual arrangements in all the fields above mentioned (ranging from land option to acquisitions and divestitures – both MIPA and SPAs, consulting arrangements). Francesco holds a Law Degree achieved with honours at the University of Messina and an MBA from Bocconi School of Management of Milan. Francesco is registered with the Association of Lawyers in Milan since 2003 . Before setting up his law firm, Francesco was an associate at Allen & Overy.

Ludovico Calderazzi is Founder and MD of Austex S.r.l. the Engineering company of Infrastrutture. In 1994 Ludovico started his professional career in the energy sector, focusing in efficient energy conversion manufacturing processes, developing a strong technical know-how in process simulation and energy systems, energy audits, instrumentation and data acquisition, design and project management for energy efficient industry systems. During his professional career he worked for important clients such as Pfizer Italia and Procter&Gamble. Ludovico holds Ph.D. in Energy Engineering from “Politecnico di Milano” and degree in Aerospace Engineering from “Politecnico di Milano”.
