This deep and synergetic collaboration between Italian and Japanese companies in the name of technology and respect for the environment certainly bodes well for new challenges of the Italian companies in Japan. " said Pier Francesco Rimbotti, founder and CEO of the Infrastrutture Group at the inaguration in Kumagaya ( Saitama Province, north of Tokyo) of the second largest photovoltaic plant in Japan after the one in Chichibu. A model system - for which the Italian company won a public tender in 2013.

TOKYO - He is not active in the fashion industry, nor is a supplier or sub-contractor of established industries. He is not in the business of international logistics, or of products or services related to food or tourism. But he started a business in Japan. And then, as an Italian entrepreneur, he certainly is a pioneer. Pier Francesco Rimbotti, with its Infrastrutture Group, focuses on alternative energy.

Saitama, Chichibu even if it is a fertile land...

87% of the total area of Chichibu city, Saitama prefecture are rough mountains and forest, for this reason it is difficult to find flatland and hill which is suitable for developing mega solar plant. But we found one which is developed by Italian Solar Power company Hergo Sun Japan (Minato-ku, Tokyo) that started production from this February. The parent company is Infrastrutture SpA, with head office in Milan, Italy.

Boom of Italian investments in Tokyo
